# Shipreel

> Shipreel turns a GitHub repository into a launch-ready demo video. Connect a repo,
> pick a project, and Shipreel reconstructs the UI and renders a crisp MP4, loop GIF,
> and social cuts — no screen recording and no video editing required.

Shipreel is a SaaS product for developers and indie hackers who need a launch video
for Product Hunt, social media, or a README, but do not want to record or edit one.
It reads the repo (README, UI, brand tokens), storyboards the scenes, and renders the
reel on a queue. GitHub access is read-only; code is cloned to an ephemeral runner for
the render and deleted afterward — source is never stored.

- Free — $0/mo: 1 project, 2 reels/month, 720p, MP4, small Shipreel mark.
- Pro — $24/mo ($19 yearly): 5 projects, 15 reels/month, 1080p, MP4 + GIF + 9:16 + 1:1, no watermark, plain-English scene edits.
- Studio — $59/mo ($47 yearly): unlimited projects, 50 reels/month, 4K, brand kit, AI voiceover, API access, priority queue.
- Team — custom: SSO/SAML, shared brand kits, self-hosted render runner, SLA.

Shipreel is being built to be operated by agents, not just read by them.
- MCP server: in progress. Planned tools: list_projects, generate_reel, get_reel, edit_scene, list_reels. Ships with API access; endpoint and tool names are not final.
- HTTP API: on the roadmap under the Studio tier; the MCP server wraps it.
